New scooby advice - modifications
Hi all I've just purchased a 2002 bug eye after not owning a scooby for a good few years and I want to make it "capable" on track now I will list what I know it has already and if possible can anyone recommend what to get next.
Brand new coilovers
Stainless down pipe back system
Green cotton filter (in standard air box)
Blue BOV
Morrette headlights
Black code remap
And looks like it's got updated rear suspension arms and links?
I've ordered some pink injectors
A 340ltr fuel pump
And some ngk pfr7b plugs
A fuel pressure regulator
Now I can't decide on a sti top mount or front mount as I want to also swap the turbo out
The car has 95k on the clock fully serviced including fresh transmition fluid and diff fluid
Any help would be great

Capable on track? in a bug wrx?
Start with brakes, suspension and reducing the massively lardy weight
Then set your target power limit based on wether you want to be changing engines and gearboxes on a regular basis.
Fuel pressure regulator isnt needed, you can run 400+ bhp on a stock regulator.
Spend the pressure reg money on some sort of oil temperature control and baffled sump if you want the engine to stand a chance of lasting.
If you're lucky you'll get more than the 18 laps of Cadwell that me and a friend managed in his bugeye wrx before it started knocking. Evidently they dont like running 5w30 in a 17 year old car and holding long right hand corners haha.

Never heard of black code before either but the receipt and "warrenty" states power remap,
It feels faster than my old stock bug.
Il run this engine until I kill it then switch for something else....
