Is this any good for cleaning the MAF?

Bob Rawle said you should clean the maff sensor, not sure if he meant as in touch it.

No I wont be touching the actual wires was just planning on spraying them they're dirty.

Thats the stuff mate

Spray it on and leave it out you should see the crap come off it.

Got sick and tired of messing with MAFs so decided to run mafless. What filter are you running.

They're all solvent based, so should all work. Just make sure you let the solvent evaporate before you put it back in and be careful about getting it on the paint.

OK cheers, it has a k&n panel filter (was on the car when I bought it) you can see on the maf resistors a tiny amount of oil build up. Definitely could do with a clean imo.

I'll be tackling this tomorrow thanks, was just unsure about what was safe to use on it. I have been reading up and some say brake or carb cleaner is a no no others say it's fine.

I'd use a carb clean myself. I think most do on here. We had a topic a while back about it.
