Default AP Racing. Change of brake pads

Hello fellow forum members. I'm in need of some advice regarding front and rear pads for my brakes. Ok noticed my front pads have plenty of material but have started splitting, crumbling down the centre. Rears are fine. Car doesn't get driven much. Managed 140 miles last year. So could be down to use. Car is garaged. Pads fitted currently are Ferodo DS2500 i believe as have a receipt for rotors and pads. My question is, what other alternatives do I have in terms of pad choice? Not sure what model caliper I have. Photos are attached. Many thanks.

on first pics looks like pad metal plate is touching a rotor or it will
Your disc or caliper is out of centre, should be the same space on the bottom and on the top of a pad corners
i have ds2500 and nothing wrong with them on road

I had DS2500 on my APs and they also crumbled and wore unevenly.

I've replaced them with PFC Z's and have been very happy with them. Daily driving only.

I've got ap's on the front an use performance friction pads , they are quite good but give off a lot of dust .plus I've had to file the pads down to fit... but that said they stop the car when needed.
