Default 2012 WRX STi 340R - Want Quicker Acceleration

Hi all,

A few weeks ago I picked up a 2012 WRX STi 340R and I am starting to plan what mods I need to eek out a better performance. I should clarify that I am not really interested in headline stats or top end performance as I have no use for it, though am looking for faster acceleration whilst keeping it as a comfortable road car.

Please no "chocolate pistons" jokes as I have had two 2.5s previously and had no trouble, though I appreciate its a possibility. I'm looking for constructive comments.

E.g. I've seen a nice black Mishimoto intercooler that claims to be good for up to 400bhp and looks ace, though do I really need a FMIC?

Will I need to change my turbo and if so what would fit the bill?

The obligatory picture:-

Thanks in advance,

you want a quicker 0-60 than sub 4.5 seconds?

I thought the std top mount was good for 400bhp anyway.. Rob Ostle may be able to advise on that
