I was sat on the sofa the other night watching Discovery when my wife elbowed me in the ribs and waved her iPad at me with this car on it.

Couldnt decide if she was wanting it for herself or trying to get me to buy it so she could have my blob, til I reminded her that since she gave me the go ahead to up the power on said blobeye I now also have a rather large bill for HER conservatory that was part of the deal.

Seem to remember this being advertised for £26,000 to start with, and the price has come down weekly ever since.

Nice looking car, lot of BHP too, makes you wonder why it's not been sold yet though if it's come down from it's original price of £26,000

Are standard gearboxes really ''good for 800bhp+''?

08 hatches are around the £10 to 13k range even now -so £4k extra for a proper built engine- very very good value -assuming it has some sort of decent ecu just brakes and suspension to finish off really-
these cars are never realllllly ever finished though are they
- i never stop tinkering/improving mine thats for sure.
if your serious stop looking at pretty pics and go have a gander -it would cost a **** load more than 17k to build it including buying a hatch sti thats for sure

^ This ^ saw this a while back would have to see all receipts for engine, and proof/printouts for claimed bhp, hopefully the 750 miles it has done is after the correct running in period. He was selling the engine seperately a while back?
