Default Paint code help

Hi all, I've been trying for months now to find a replacement nsr door for my 03 sti in silver 01g.
I've found a door from a breakers on eBay but it's 300 miles away, from the pictures it looks the same colour but they don't have the paint code only the original reg. The car is a 53 plate wrx, is there any way I can find out which paint code it is ?
it's a long way for me to travel and find out it's the wrong colour. Cheers.

my silver wrx wagon is 01g and I've seen plenty of wrx's in the same, so if it looks a match there's a good chance it is.

Same here mines 01G, just ask him to check the paint code it's on the vin plate, by front left suspension strut top under the bonnet.

The door I'm looking at is on eBay but they have already stripped the car down and crushed the shell so they don't have a vin plate. I might try ringing a subaru dealer tomorrow and try my luck with their parts department.

Thanks for your help guys, the original breakers came back to me today and it was the correct paint code. They have sent me the door down on a pallet.
