Default 2011 model - difference with STi Type UK

For the current saloon 2011 model onwards, is there a difference between:
Impreza WRX STi and Impreza WRX STi Type UK models?

If so, what is the difference please?

Thanks in advance.

Subaru UK originally added the "Type UK" to distinguish genuine Subaru UK cars from grey imports from other RHD markets (Cyprus, Malta) or parallel imports via Europe. (Possible to order a RHD car from a European dealer.)

Only real difference was some of the option packs/trim codes were different. (rear wing/no rear wing; seats; push button start........)

If you compare to JDM, then the most obvious difference is the engine capacity, although Japan has various MY11 onwards models with 2.5L engines as well.

UK MY11 Saloons came with option code AA

There are also various model codes

UK MY11 Saloons are GVFDKEH
