More power but there's a catch
Just thinking aloud to future upgrades to my spec c hatch.
My car currently has a turboback exhaust system and a remap.
I'm not sure what turbo it has.
What I'm looking to do is get the most from my current turbo as I don't want to deviate from what the car is if that makes sense.
I want to stay top mount also for the reason above (but will upgrade to maybe a grimspeed) and keep the intake to a cosworth panel filter.
My question is what are the next upgrades to do?
Uprated injectors? What's a 3 way boost solenoid?

A 3 port boost solenoid allows the mapper to control boost at higher rpm more precisely. Spec c has a vf53, cold air intake will give you a bit more, maybe 8hp. A bigger tmic will give lower charge temperatures, but if the turbo is near max I'm not sure it's worth it.
So you need a bigger turbo, like Little'uns one in the For Sale section. Then bigger injectors. Then intercooler. And it may get slightly more lag!!

Thanks for info buddy
If I get a new turbo etc I feel I may aswell have just gotten a cheaper STI rather than Spec C and am taking the car to far from what it is if that makes sense. Hence sticking with TMIC and panel filter.
It seems maybe I'm near the sweet spot at the moment then.

Ever thought about a water/meth injection system. Everything is stock under the bonnet and the small tank is located in the boot. Simple enough install, not expensive and some good results to be had. Defo my next Mod after I get a remap tomorrow.
The water/meth system will need to be mapped in.

I think Chevron can put a billet wheel in your current turbo. Best to discuss with them but I'd assume you'd be able to get 400+bhp.
Bigger injectors would only be needed if you're maxing out your current ones.
Ecutek with race rom can run a flex fuel sensor. So for track days you could run 20% meth. I used to run it on my blobeye and was great for performance but a headache for a daily. But with the flex fuel sensor you can easily run with or without the meth. You'd definitely need bigger injectors. Bob Rawle would be the man for that.
