Not worth it in my eyes, £235k buys a hell of a lot of Type R's which is basically what it is... with a few mods thrown in.
I don't really care about the history of the car... at the end of the day it's just a car that was driven by someone famous for driving... hardly a reason to throw over £200k at a Subaru.
But hey not my money so I'm not worried.
Mind you I'm pleased they're fetching silly money because I've got one in my garage.

Just how many parts do you think this shares with a type R?
235k for a wrc car doesn't really seem that far fetched considering the history and the availability of these. With WRC fiestas going for 200k this seems too cheap. Would be on my lottery list for sure.

Indeed.
It's the provenance, too... The very first one made (at least I assume it is, seeing as the chassis ID is mentioned as "001")?!?
That said, you could pick up ex-Works ones from WRC Spares a few years back for, IIRC, as 'little' as as £60k!
