Aftermarket steering wheel feel

Had an omp steering wheel fitted to my blob wrx and pleased with how it feels compared to the standard bus wheel. It feels stiffer and more feed back. Is this because its smaller?

probably, yes. smaller diameter=more effort needed to turn it.
