I like my car - does anyone else on here

I remember when I was ordering my car many moons ago that the impreza turbo was regarded as quite a wonderful piece of kit.
My MY00 is the best car I'm ever likely to own. It's blown a maplight bulb, and the rearseatbelt was fixed under warranty. Even though its a parallel import, the dealers been brilliant.
I love my car
It's superb
This BBS seems to be degenerating into a my car is worse than your car muddle.
Anybody else like their car?

I'm on my third Impreza turbo. The first two were company cars & I struggled for almost a year without one but, couldn't last any longer.
I now have a MY97 Catalunya, although I have a few items that need to be resolved (air con doesn't appear to be working & clutch judder), I do luv my Suzy. Best of all this one is mine & no company Big Cheese can hold it against me at pay rise time!!
I'm sure the majority of the Scoob owners like their cars but, it's only human nature to get frustrated when things ain't right. Some of the main problems discussed recently & the hassle on some occasions to get some dealers to play the game doesn't make things easy.

I love my car and so does my girlfriend. Only problem is I drive it way to much
I don't care what everyone else drives, if you are happy with your car then I'm happy for you. Can't understand people slagging off other peoples pride and joy, obviously they need to take a chill pill.

Very happy with mine - 26K miles in 14 months (from new) - clutch done under warranty, but that's the only thing. It has never let me down and I've found the dealers to be superb.

I love my STI to bits, I've done 26K miles in the last 10 months (its at 60K now) and only had to replace a turbo (Probably too many trackdays and no turbo timer). The main thing that hacks me off with it is the depreciation we are seeing at the moment, but hey you only lose the money when you sell it so I'll just have to hang onto it
Cheers

Which dealer services/repairs your car in Lancashire? I'm based in Cumbria and am getting a parallel import. If you don't want to post their name on the board, drop me an E-mail.

My scoob rattles somewhat, has a messy power delivery, is noisy, needs serviceing every 6 months and returns terrible MPG. I love it! Have an Audi S4 avant as a 'first' car, but scooby gets driven all the time. Wife feels the same about it.

I love both my cars, Cossie for the "Orgasm on wheels" looks and the Astra for the Wicked fun of the Nitrous power delivery.
If I was sensible, I would realise I can't afford both of them, but I'm having too much fun to care!!!
Best thing I ever did was get into cars. You meet the safest and most open minded people on the planet.

had the wrx now for about 10 weeks - still get can't past the 'wow' factor; going up steep inclines - in fifth for heaven's sake - and still leaves other vehicles for dead.

I have never liked a car as much as my Civic Type R, everytime i see the needle reach 6000rpm (VTEC all the way to 9000 screamin rpm), it reminds me why i bought A CTR.
Best car, i will be really sad if i ever have to give it up one day.
Next car will be R34 or Exige, but will still keep the CTR.

Yup - add me to the list
Think the wife knows that PTMW! is v. important in my life & I seem to spend my time trying to stop her driving! 26k miles in under 2 years & quite a few quid spent on mods PTMW! is live art in my eyes & an evolving process. I want to stop but I can't
Do I need help?

My P1 is simply the best car I'm ever likely to own (until I get an Aston )
It's had a little bit of agg, but nothing that isn't a distant memory by now.
The ownership experience is fabulous and I think it's fab. The amount of people that comment on the fact that it's an amazing motor never ceases to amaze me. It really makes me feel priveliged to own it at times.
Cheers
A very satisfied Mr Data

I love mine too.
Last month I thought we had grown apart, but when I cleaned her ready for the Autotrader photograph, I simply could not do it.
I resisted the calls from the dark side and didn't move to EVOdom.
