Default Oil Catch Can - Return To Sump

Am I right to suppose if you have any "normal" oil catch can, that has a drain hole in the bottom, you can fit to that drain hole a return to sump hose?

If this is true, this mishimoto one looks very good, as in get the 3 port baffled catch can that has a drain hole in the bottom, [they sell the drain kit separately, for £34].

What's your opinion?

Basic Return Kit that needs adaptation:

i personally would keep it simple , would not a return to sump create its own pressure in the return line and therefore not work as well ?

I have a return to sump. Rather than using the drain kit just buy the fittings and pipe. I used Torques fitting and return via the sump plug hole

What fitting did you use to go into the sump drain hole?
I am looking at doing it myself but the RCM return hose kit is a fortune.
