Just got hit by a HGV.
Could have been worse, but I'm still mighty pissed off.
Lorry pulled out into middle lane. I was already in middle lane.

Funny, I was just going to ask about number plate of the HGV.
At least you're ok mate
Also, I have a bug/blob rear near side door in black stored in my unit, if things go t*ts up and you have to repair yourself

They check nothing as they have no idea what should be standard,
Those HGV make no changes for Yours 15 years old sheep, he should wreck it

I ended up going to Court to get mine sorted, with Flux, as other members have.

That's not very re-assuring, but good to know. I didn't realise AF could be problematic.

Thanks for the offer, depending on how things go with the insurer and claims people I may well be getting in touch.

Ouch! Makes my car park boot dent seem mighty trivial. Glad you are OK, shame about the wagon. Did it damage the new side skirts?!

The ones I spent ages polishing and restoring and had only been on the car 4 days?
Yes. The passenger's side has a chunk missing where the wheel bolts of the artic chewed it.

Well we can only blame ourselves for the influx of foreign trucks on the English highway / actually there are more foreign UK registered trucks in our country than foreign registered .. they are killing the industry , & it will only get worse as no one gives a ****,, but it will all back fire & we will all pay the price it's inevitable..
Back to your experience , where as you may not be at fault ,why anyone would want to sit on the side of foreign artic is laughable , it's pot luck , & yours ran out .. its one of those things ( situations ) you will never do again , I guarantee ../ so yes all in all
Just the roll of the dice
