Default my 2000 maf help

Hi guys. Long time no see. Was registered under vinniedog but cannot log in anymore under username. Anyway, still have the my2000 impreza turbo 2000 with 79000 on the clock. Now desperate for a maf sensor as code 23 showe up. Does anyone know the best place to get one from. Many thanks. Jason

You can sometimes get away with giving them a clean and an ECU reset but for the price I would be tempted to buy a new one.

Removed it yesterday and tried cleaning. Just the same. The car won't rev above 3500 at the moment so need to replace ASAP. Cheers.

Did you do an ECU reset as well?
You will want to be doing a reset anyway when you fit the new maf, this way your fuel trim learning tables will be learnt faster.

Yes did the reset. Still no change. Just fired it up again and runs like an absolute dog. Can't even rev it. I had it under boost a few days ago and then felt as though I had hit a brick wall. No power what so ever. Checked hoses and all appear fine. Changed fuel filter.
will have to see if new maf makes all the difference.
