Default Weekend Scooby toy - 6.5k budget

Hi Folks,

It has been a couple of years since owning a Subaru and i am wanting to get back on the scene. There is one difference this time around though, I am looking for a WEEKEND car, rather than a daily runner, which will spend most of its life in a dry garaged area.

My question is, what important factors/considerations do i need to weigh up?
My budget is approx 6-6.5k, and I think it is realistic that i would end up with a classic sti or a bug eye sti for that money.

Looking for any input at all folks thank you!

Lovely!! Where did you see that advertised? Is the classic sti engine as strong as new age? I am sure I had read it was weaker but could be talking rubbish!!

Generally speaking yes. The STI 8 JDM engine is supposed to be the strongest, followed by the other STI 8 models.

Saw it advertised on autotrader.
