Post Hatch numberplate delete plate

Well chaps as im wanting to remove the front plate and move to a sticker on bumper i was not willing to pay £££ for a sign to cover the holes in the bumper

I decided to make one i grab a few aluminium push plates from work
Soo i measured the size needed to sit just inside the part on the bumper it needs to be 300mm x 40mm

New push plate 300mm x 75mm

Marked out ready for cutting 40mm

40mm plate marked out

Cut out and sanded ready for paint

After cutting out i got some new sand paper and rubbed all edges to make the smooth just need priming and painting with a sticker will post photos when finished

Google images , print , trace it , convert onto masking tape and cut round it. Basically will have made your own sticker.

Might make my own someday if I can be bothere'd. Love making things like that

I used the original mounts but got some counter sunk bolts and some red washer to finish it off , got them from my mate as he had them left over , there similar the rally tech bolt kits but not sure if it's there's but shouldn't be hard to find on ebay

Could do with redoing this year I think lol

Means rubbish looking

Aye a plate would be handy , I think I'd just use mine for shows/meets and have the reg on when driving. Though I've a "scooby" reg so no point in hiding it !

It's behind the fog covers beside the fog light , I cut a hole in my cover to allow it to be fitted with the relocation kit
