Default Decat downpipe identification/application

I got a system off my friend who isn't sure what model they're from.....

The decat downpipe looks as if it's 3" narrowing down to 2.5" and I'm fairly certain it'll fit the newage impreza, I'm not sure if the classic is the same or just looks the same but it looks the same as the newage ones.....

The only decat downpipe that I've found online that actually states 3" narrowing down to 2.5" is an RCM downpipe

http://www.scoobyworx.com/rcm-open-n...29-15530-p.asp

There's a pic of it next to the decat midpipe and that's 2.5".......is there any difference between the classic and newage systems and if so is there any way of working out which system this is?

Cheers
