I had a lot of fun in mine, including damaging every panel whist enthusiasticly spectating on the first day of the 98 Network Q rally. We slept in the car every night of the rally and were constantly woken by passers by's Oooo's and Ahhh's. I kicked ten ton of crap out of the car for three whole years - no waiting for the turbo, extended sessions on the rev limiter and lax on service intervals - and nothing much went wrong. Hence my purchace of a 'Startled Deer' MY01 which I like even more.

Steady my first car was an Allegro, the one with a round steering wheel, although that didn't seem to work that well either as it still ended up bent in half round a tree. Only had Impreza a short while but there's no doubt in my mind its the best car. Going to find it difficult to replace with anything other than an STI

1. Has to be the Audi What a car, and it can still show a clean pair of tailpipes to alot of performance cars today.
2. My Scooby, best car I've owned
3. Evo wicked, but not for the roads around here, I’d shake myself to bits.

That Toivenan thing is a bit of a joke.
I guarantee you that if that time is true then he was taking some massive shortcuts because there is no way that a group B rally car could have ever hoped to get anywhere near qualifying for an F1 grid.
Look at Goodwood. F1 car approx 40 secs, Richard Burns in Impreza about 60 secs, Michelle Mouton in Group B Quattro Sport, about 65 secs AND she was taking huge short cuts.
And thats on a country lane. On a race track any 1980s F1 car would utterly DESTROY any rally car. Think about the braking distances, the drag, the downforce...

In a totally biased way it's the Sierra Cosworth 4x4 (cos I've got a 92K one in Stage 1 tune, totally reliable with 60k miles on it). I know the Scooby has moved the game on (and I can't afford a decent one anyway) but for me the cossie has still got "it". I'd love any of the cars mentioned though.

Like the topic Nice change
I would have the Sapphire 4x4 for the sheer tuneablity of the car but I am a bit biased cos I have a 2WD Saphhire now
Next for me would be the Evo 5
Wouldn't turn any of them down though

If it would be possible to score by emotion as opposed to actual driving thrills, then i'm sorry guys but I grew up wanting to own ONE car.
Ford Sierra Cosworth 4x4
However, i grew up and ended up with a scoob and I love it.
Get this, i've never been in a sierra cossie, let alone driven one but deep down, that's where MY heart is.
God I love cars

Well done, you're the first I know of to have worked out my name!
The 'b' bit isn't because I prefered the colour swapped second half of the season version of the car (although I do), but I forgot my password and no longer use the associated email address that 'BT52' had
