Hello All...how much power/torque is a fully forged 2.5 CDB good for?

Built properly AND supporting mods 500 would be safe IMO

I think you will find ASP do the machining for any of the 2.5 cdb he builds

My hatch Sti 2.5 fully closed deck is running 530Bhp , been told it would do 600 but 530 is loads for my road car

Yeah I know he doesn't do any machine work inhouse, just pointing the OP in the direction of a well respected builder in the North West for advice

Andy Williams sends all machining to asp but for build and quality you can't really beat his prices all in.
I got quotes off a few and he came out on top, a LOT of people use him.
He will be building my cdb 14mm conv.

Power wise on a 2.5 cdb well built they say 550 max!

Semi blocks have ran 400, 450 ,500 even closed being the better option for future proof obviously depending on how much you use the car . you may get used to the power and want more
