can i take it from here? i see something is already t-d in so would putting in another t give a false reading?

That is going to the bcs. I would try and take it from the inlet instead as you don't want to disturb the reading going to to the bcs.

take it from the vac pipe going to the dump valve. You'll need a T piece as the stock dv pipe is larger than most vac pipe
