Have just fitted a 3" Decat downpipe, 3" straight thru center section and an Afterburner Raptor Back Box.

Now my previous cars i have had a Blitz NUR-Spec-R fitted to my P1 and a custom decatted exhaust fitted to my blobeye STI.

But **** me this set-up is Loud with a capital L.

Have this system on my hawk STI, but mine has a sports cat and that's just to loud for me, to drones terribly on motorways and I'll be taking it off soon i think.

perhaps try adding a silenced centre section? Or alternatively, consider a swap to the afterburner vortex. Which has a lovely tone on boost, but is actually relatively quiet in-car and not over the top.

Yeah I was thinking of trying something like that I might see if anyone is up for a swap soon.

Loads of people said the car was loud when I had the afterburner on including a few too many complaints

But I didn't think it was that loud lol until I was stood outside the car

Iv got the vortex, straight center and standard downpipe and its not loud at all really. Had a nice tone on boost though. I think the word loud is relative to what your used to. All my passangers say its loud (not overly loud just loud in standard car terms i think) i think it sounds more or less standard lol.

Down pipe makes a lot of difference lol including the up pipe

The comments about it being loud that weren't complaints were about it not being annoying loud. So you either love it or hate it

But as you say compared to standard cars there is a massive difference because they focus on being as quiet as possible
