Default Central locking problems.... serious problems

Right, where should I start...

1) the key only unlocks the drivers door and the boot
2) I have to manually lock on the inside of the car every door for it to lock except drivers door
3) immobiliser fob button is missing so have to poke something in there to start the car
4) the hazards go off every time I open a door when the car is running for about 30 seconds and I can't stop them( look like I stole it driving along with the hazards going ( usually wait for them to stop before leaving petrol garages etc))
5) the car has some sort of alarm because it goes off when the battery connects but then only way to stop it is start the car

I have a uk2000 97 wagon

Please help on any of the above thanks guys been so helpful so far what a cracking bunch of lads are on the site, thanks Aaron

Not sure on the hazards and stuff guess that's related to the alarm. My classic can only be opened manually one at a time because it has no door lock timer sensor thing. It's a little black box that sits behind the plastic on the left hand side of the passenger footwell. They engage the central locking on all doors. Can be had on eBay quite cheap, just look up impreza door timer. May also be spinning the alarm out and giving u the probs you mentioned.

You sound like you haven't owned it long. Can you contact the seller for his advice? At least you might find out what make of alarm you have.

You could contact an authorised Clifford* dealer and get a whole new locking and alarm system fitted. They should rip out the old one and replace. Added peace of mind included

*other brands are available, Cobra or Toad for example.

Newage ecu would not fit or work. As said get an after market security system fitted.
