Any colour you like, bud, so long as it's the same as what's in. Colour means nothing.
Try a decent motor factor, ask for anti-freeze for an alloy engine.
If doing a coolant change, or even a heavy topping up, PLEASE read my post about coolant change, there's a right and a wrong way to refill.......

Found this under the header tank cap...wont wipe off and not oily texture either.
Also found this when draining the system down
This is what it had in there so i dont know if its juat staining from ghe antifreeze or more serious!

Just found the following when draining down the coolant system.
Its like a brown / orange staining throughout the system.
It doesn't feel oily and wont rub over the header cap.
It had the Halfords OAT anti freeze (pink / orange colour).
Is this just staining or something more serious?
