Blob rear light tint

Blob rear light tint

Any tips or methods for tinting the clear part on the rear blob lights? I know its not everyones cup of tea but id like to do it. Not a fan of the fly eye film stuff either

I've seen some done with window film but I used a couple of coats of Hycote smoke lense paint, you can use more coats to go darker if you want, see my thread here:

Is the spray a gloss finish?
