Default Japspeed down pipe fouling bulkhead issue

Bought this new at the beginning of the year for my project but only recently got round to fitting. It's jammed tight against the bulkhead, anyone else had this issue?? I have raised this issue with ed? At japspeed and he has assured me it's the correct newage pipe. Not sure why it's like this.

As busta says, they're not named crapspeed for no reason!
Seen so many threads about poor fitment that I'm surprised they're still selling

No bro he meant take a lump hammer to it!!

Watch out the crapspeed brigade will be along to justify it.. Then we all wonder why the likes of blitz/milltek are more expensive then crapspeed or bumsports items

Didn't realise they had that reputation otherwise I would have avoided. I had a sports cat down pipe from them on my last car and that was fine, fit was great too. Guess I **** out this time round. I don't want a pipe I have to take a hammer too, it's got to be right as I'm fussy ****er.

To be honest pal I've put 2 of these down pipes on DIFFRENT scoobies and both had a problem where the steering knuckle would hit the downpipe when car was moving had to take off and modify which made the downpipe weaker and as a result cracking from the seam welds from the turbo side
When I put a milltek downpipe on for another customer it went on like a glove no issues you get what you pay for
It's all about justification bro...

Must be out of stock or something, I've not looked recently but the last 2 times I've bought off them.
Maybe buy the ling long as I know you like them

think I'll give the ling long a miss, had my fair share of poorly fitting exhausts over the years

And I picked this up the other day anyway......

Gotta love an eBay bargain

2 reasons for the wrap... the rest of the system is wrapped so looks better... and the pipework on the box wouldn't polish up so the wrap hides it... remember, it's a garage queen so it's gotta look right

I have a cobra sport 3" decat and system on my classic but even tho its bolted/mounted to the gearbox etc the steering knuckle is rubbing so at some point I'll have to modify it using the lump hammer method or change it

At the price of heatwrap it would have been cheaper to buy a new exhaust system!
