WR1, 22B
Hi all
I am wanting to buy a WR1 and or a 22B.
I am not that clued up on these cars, can anyone put in the right direction on a decent one for sale?
I have seen the two WR1's at Adams, one at 25k and 1 at 20k very similar mileage but 5k difference, anyone know why and what the real value of these cars are?

I would imagine that it is because they only made 500
22B have no problem paying 3 times the price.

The last 2 22B's ive seen for sale have been around the £70k mark. As for the WR1's it seems the prices dealers are wanting for these cars are a lot more then they go for private, Id say wait/or put a advert up on here for a enthusiast owned mint low mileage WR1 and go from there.
Im guessing your a collector, My mate sold a Widetrack STi with 3k miles on the clock about 6 months ago that went to London, wasn't you by any chance???

As for that blue STi for sale, I cant see it going up in value, I have these same discussions with friends all the time about the next car to go up in value, I think recently WR1's/P1's/22b's have all gone silly on the prices advertised by dealers(Same cars are for sale from 5-6 months ago), Personally Id be looking at early classic STi Type RA's or Type R's as these are the proper enthusiast cars that people are wanting now, so who to say these will not be worth double/triple value in 5 years!!!

If it was my money, Id be having a look at this!!

Going from the pictures the engine/interior etc look very clean for the age, and more important it looks original, and being a fresh Jap import Id be hoping underneath is mint!! But thats just going off a Pistonheads advert and pictures, maybe different in person!!!

The 22b is a special car, whereas the WR1 is just an Sti painted a strange colour. Road tested the WR1 has no more 'go' than the bog standard Sti, can't see what the fuss is about.
