Default Oil pressure question
Never had gauges in any of my Imprezas

Gets up to about 6.2/6.5ish under load

That's good oil pressure you have there so no worries , gauges look nice too .

Oil pressure will depend on grade as well. The thicker the oil, the higher the pressure.

My forged 2.5 with millers cfs 10w50 runs 6.5 bar on cold idle and normal driving, 3.5 bar hot idle.
