Default First WRX

Hi all

I'm looking to buy my first WRX ideally I would like a 2005 blob, I have about 5k to splash out on the car and extra for insurance and tax. Direct line quote me about £350 for WRX and roughly about the same for an STI but these prices are presumed the car is standard has anyone had any dealing with DL with modified scoobys? also what should I expect to get for my money, and what should I be on the look out for when viewing, obviously engine knock is a big no but what else should I check for.

Thanks

Hi,
£350 for your insurance sounds really competitive. If you are looking at modifications and Direct Line can't accommodate you then please feel free to drop me a line.
Regards,
Dan.
