I am constantly being told that there is a real shortage of Northern Trackdays and have decided to look into it.

Having spoken to Jonny Leroux (Bookatrack) he tells me that we may be able to get a Friday booking for Elvington near York. The venue is huge and has excellent facilities. It can be as quick or slow as you like and has enough run off to land the space shuttle.

IM NOT JOKING ABOUT THE SPACE SHUTTLE - ELVINGTON IS ONE OF THE RESERVE LANDING SITES WITH A 3 MILE LONG RUNWAY!!!!!

Anyhow, if you are up for a combined Northern Meet and Trackday Event, please let me know. If we get enough interest, it will happen........

Excellent Mike, did a track day at elvington last weekend.
Incredible venue fast/tecnical or both there is so much room.Very safe huge run off's so you can "large it" with impunity.
It would be an excellent venue for such a day, would you offer some instruction for the day as well?
I certainly am interested, I have already provisionally booked all the remaining bookatrack elvington events, so an extra day would be superb!! Geoff
PS Perhaps we can persuade Mossman to take his baby on the track here!!!! (what say you Jon)

Hello all!

Not sure about taking my baby on the track, but you never know - my damn house is training the finances faster than you can say, glowing blue doorbells and glass washbasins!

However, I can bring some of the Wax Wizard's finest products along to demo and sell if anyone would be interested. I profess to be a major fan of the WW gear and would be delighted to show other people the light!

I'm up for the meet and not too sure about the track either! I've only got a Fiesta si but I have been known to keep up with some high class machinery I might be interested in filling up a last place if the price is right.

Definitely up for a track day but it would be after Xmas if they are still going. The car arrives in September and I want it to be well run in before I wear out my tyres and brakes. I'd be up for a meet though and a few passenger laps before then though
