I was accepted as a Drivetribe leader for The Grand Tour yesterday, and by bizarre coincidence my sister (who's an air hostess) happened to be staying at the same hotel as the team in Johannesburg.


Being her irritating forward self, she sat with the team and started chatting to them about my love of cars. Next thing I know I'm talking to James May about cars! My sister had mentioned I was thinking of selling, and he urged me to keep it saying it's a "proper petrolhead's car"! He asked if I'd ruined it with modifications, to which I said I'd improved it, but he didn't sound quite so approving...
