All 3 brake light failure
Has anyone had this issue before? about to go for an Mot and noticed all 3 of my brake lights are out. I probably shouldn't even be driving this car now ffs. Very dodgy.
Yeah, thanks. I read about the fuse but unfortunately the horn still works and they're all on the same circuit apparently. Hopefully it's the switch, I suppose, do you know where it's located?
On the brake pedal.
Pull the connector off the switch and bridge the 2 terminals of the connector with a paper clip - the brake lights should come on if the switch is faulty.

OK so. I CHANGED the switch and they still didn't work. After ****ting my pants for a while I thought I'd check the fuses anyway, and low and behold it was the fuse. So... In summary, if have a hawkeye, the horn is obviously on a different circuit.

No, not that sensible mate. Changed the switch first lol. Must be classics that have the horn and brake lights on the same circuit because I read it in a few different posts. Just assumed since the horn still worked the fuse must be fine. Live n learn aye. Onto the next mot job, dust cover over lower suspension ball joint is split, any advice?
