Mot fail on high Lambda reading...
Hi all,
I took my old scooby for an Mot the other day and it failed on an excessively high Lambda reading. She hasn't been driven for about 7-8 months since I upgraded to a newer sti but I have been out to start her up regularly-ish.
I've been told it could be a few things causing this i.e. exhaust leak, car not up to temp, faulty Lambda or possibly the probe not being inserted properly? The car seemed to be idling a little higher than usual and was a little erratic when I first started her up. Reading print out below;
Anyone able to narrow it down a little? Thanks in advance.
