2016 sti bring the noise
So got my decat down pipe and yesterday my haywood and scott de res centre section turned up , will be fitted and mapped next week the question is will it bring me back some rumble to the pants stock sound of the new sti or is this solely down to the back boxes ? And input would be great.
I'm hoping by getting rid of the two cats and the massive resonator on centre section this will help ?

Mine was a dealer approved upgrade, not planning on doing anything else to it. Only get 3 years on the STi anyway, and I'm halfway through that now.
I'd have been a bit worried doing it otherwise, would have waited until out of warranty.
I had the offer of a H&S system from a MY12 for my MY14, but contacted them first to check fitment. They confirmed that the back boxes will fit, but the y-pipe wouldn't, it is very slightly different.

Once that ecu has been flashed the CVN & CID numbers change, Even if flashed back to standard the Numbers will change again & wont tally up with the original factory numbers
Warranty Invalid in this instance
