Which One?!
Hi Guys,
I'm considering purchasing an Impreza but for the life of me cannot decide which to aim for. I have a decent budget and ideally I am looking for a standard low miles WRX STi however which shape and model is becoming a nightmare. As far as I can tell I have the following options;
Blobeye 2.0 WRX STi Widetrack (JDM)
Blobeye 2.0 WRX STi Widetrack (Type UK)
Hawkeye 2.5 WRX STI (JDM)
Hawkeye 2.5 WRX STI (Type UK)
Hatch 2.5 WRX STI (Type UK)
I have read however that the 2.5s are ones to avoid?
Would have loved a 330s in the hatchback due to age and being slightly more practical with a nicer interior but wouldn't want to risk an engine going pop!
I have also seen the 2.0 Hawkeye WRX STI (JDM) are these using the same engine from the Blobeye and therefore reliable?
What are the main differences between the JDMS and Type UKs?
Does anybody have out of the box bhp figures for each model?
Sorry for the ton of questions but want to do my research first!
