Ooops
Problems scrolling on phone
It read 'here's my new car ' and 'I have a soft spot for red'
Anyway anyone coming from a boring VW to a scooby would be rather excited don't you agree

Mines sitting on the drive with a second h/g failure and is due to be forged soon. knowing this would I get another 2.5? The answer is yes, but I would buy it pre-forged as a minimum requirement. The 2.5 engine is epic on a road car when it's running right

let him enjoy his car, he might get lucky and never have an issue, not every 2.5 fails

Not to mention the ridiculous road tax.

Rebuilt yes a great engine even as standard (as long as it doesn't break) I found it great as a daily drive.
As for the road tax. its not the cars fault it's the stupid EU 'green' legislation and our incompetent government that's responsible for that. But that's another debate

I think it looks great.
You enjoy it, if it goes wrong - it goes wrong, such is life. But, if you look after it and don't fit stupid mods, I'm sure it will be fine. Anyway, I believe it was more of a problem with the STi.
(Don't listen to tubs, he's a hater, and probably never even owned one).

I agree, let the guy enjoy his car for crying out loud. We all know the 2.5 has its 'issues', but I agree with the above, the 2.5 is an epic engine for the road. Had mine for a year now, totally standard, not skipped a beat, hasn't drunk a drop of oil or coolant.
