Why not?
If running Maf then the air has been calculated by the sensor, you then dump the air out that's expected to be seen by the Maf,so would cause fueling to be out.
That's how I've always seen it anyway, maybe someone with more technical knowledge can explain better?

Welcome Guesty.
Looks good, enjoy it.
Be warned, Fat Thomas will be along in a bit and tell you you shouldn't have bought it cos it has a crap 2.5 engine in it. Ignore him, he's a c,unit.
How many miles? Probably due a clutch anyway, depending on its previous life.

Low coolant is a worry
Why would anyone out too much oil in ?
Best do some basic checks for head gaskets and pistons I'm afraid
Clutch should not slip at 38k ona new hatch
Dump valve
Well I'm not going to lecture
Best post up more about this car
At least you have a warrenty

I take it you checked the oil and water levels when the car was completely cold? As the expansion tank expands and contracts water level as needed when warm.
Was it a Subaru garage you bought it from who serviced it?
Clutch smell would normally indicate clutch on way out to be honest. Could be possible, some have known to go at lower miles. Not riding the clutch when reversing were you? Best check clutch and brake fluid levels to be sure the fluid is not causing it!
Good luck.

When the car is cold, take the cap off the header tank (left hand side of inlet manifold) and check the water level is right to the top. If not, top that up. If it's low it could be a sign that your losing water under boost and your head gasket is on the way out. Monitor the water levels very carefully over the next week to see if the levels in both header and expansion change day to day and let us know.

Nope, that's the rad cap. But best to check that too. You'll have two high pressure caps on the system with orange stickers on them. One actually on the radiator next to the expansion bottle and 1 on the high pressure expansion tank to the left of the inlet manifold. Check both WHEN VERY COLD to make sure they have fluid.

I bought a a standard blow off valve last night fitted it and tried car and it seems to be boggy with standard one like when i press rev it bogs then revs
Whats best standard or the forge one thats fitted the noise dont bother me i just want to know that the cars is good and not guna cause any issues
Cheers dave
