Default Whitleine KBR21 arb mount on widetrack blob

I would line to fit one of these mounts and a rear arb to a widetrack blob, but on the drivers side the fuel filler neck is in the way.

Does this need to come off in order to fit? As I may take it to a garage instead.

Thanks

Are you referring to the "stout mounts "
If so , the drivers side is a bit "fidly " esp the forward bolt - however you don't need to remove the filler neck .. I found it easier tightening the bolt from placing my arm in the ( trailing arm ) direction ..

Tried fitting the stout mounts today, on the drivers side is the mount supposed to fit in the carbon canister bracket?

The canister bracket was over the standard mount, I'm struggling to remove one of the canister bolts which has started to round off, but when I place the mount over the canister bracket the holes are misaligned by a few mm.

Or are you supposed to take the canister bracket off? When I get the holes lined up, the stout mount sits on the left edge of the canister bracket.

Have you got them the right way round. It's tight but all the ones I have done just bolt in fine. Never had to remove anything.

The line in the centre of the mounts should be facing the rear bumper as far as I'm aware, or is that wrong?

I found fitting instructions on the whiteline website, the instructions state the the line in the mounts should be facing the front, but the actual pic on their website shows it facing the rear

Cant believe something so simple has turned into a pain in the ****.

Thanks for all your help, arb is installed now, I tried the mounts in both directions, it doesn't seem to make a difference as there is still an overhang
