How much for a scooby in Europe?
#1
If I trade in my UK my00 turbo and have cash to spend, can any folks in Scandinavia/Northern europe tell me how much I could expect to pay for a similar used left hand drive model? Say around 25000 miles, up to 2 owners. Are they as readily available second hand over there? Any websites for me to browse?
It seems a bit silly to take a UK car over for an extended period, but I'm kind of attached to my car now. Wouldn't like to be without some kind of impreza Just trying to plan ahead...

Sounds interesting! Could it be that instead of losing money when I sell the car I could break even due to low euro-prices? I expect the car tax factor may balance things out though
A note of the dealer would be much appreciated...

I imported by UK spec MY00 from Holland and asked the dealer about LHD models while I was there.
They are significantly cheaper (both new and second hand) From memory is was about 7-8k cheaper for a new one!! Used ones were a lot cheaper, too, and readily availabe (this was 2 years ago, but I can't imagine it will have changed much)
I can give you the details of my dealer if you like - he's very helpful indeed.
