Default Dash Cams

Looking to record my drive to Italy, can anyone recommend any decent dash cams? Not looking to spend hundreds if I'm honest...

Also how do you run them? Plugged into the cig lighter? Battery run?

I need to buy one, there has been a thread on here a while back. YouTube has a few good reviews.

I Have a Koonlung K1S installed in mine.

However Dash cams are a gray are in Europe so check up first as I know they are 100% totally illegal in Austria and will get you fined anything upto €10k, they are also frowned up on in Luxembourg and all though legal in Germany they are frowned upon and video evidence of any accident or near miss you record will 99% of the time be inadmissable in court as you are infringing peoples right to privacy by videoing them without their concent. Also posting videos on social media may get you in trouble aswell, even if the German in front of you is being a total **** which is why I got dual cameras in mine

The missis just brought herself the Transcend Drivepro 220 - quality camera with great night time resolution and basically plug and play.

Have them in my both cars without any problems, I just installed another lighter socket in the glove box so no dangling cables
