Default Going spoiler less on classic

So I'd like to remove the high level I have and go spoiler less.

Finding a boot lid with no holes is going to be tough , so do I weld over existing holes or simply fill over holes .

I don't have a welder so filling is easier but don't want the filler falling out one day lol so best way to go about it ?

Cheers

I think most people weld them up as the filler starts to sag. I asked a similar question a while ago and was told by a member on here about vynl wrap. I bought a sheet of coloured 3D vynl wrap and cut out 5p size circles out and covered the holes with it as I couldn't make up my mind to keep the spoiler or not. This works a treat. Yes, you can see the vynl. I've got the spoiler back on just now but I'm thinking of taking it off again. I couldn't find a boot lid with no holes.

Cheers bud , I thought about vinyl wrap but having a high level spoiler I have about 7 spoiler boot holes , I'd need to wrap the whole top of the boot lid , having a white car, not sure what colour wrap would look ok

On my previous classic I removed the spoiler, much better looking.
I opted to cover the holes with small circles of wrap that were the same colour as the car. This made re-fitting the spoiler at sale time much easier as 99% of buyers want to see a big spoiler.
At a glance you never noticed the wrap over the holes either.

I just bought an A4 sized bit of wrap from eBay then used a 10p coin to cut round

My bugeye is spoilerless. Seems to have been an option when purchased as no filling or welding on it so I'll leave it as is

I found that my OE spoiler less WRX RA could get quite "light " on the rear when pushing on due to the lack of a rear spoiler.

Agreed rear end does feel friskier at speed with no spoiler on
