hi all...
im after an exhaust like this one but without the cats in it and staright from the turbo....i cant find kakimotos website...any help appreciated car is a 04 sti uk

 

I've got one but it has two resonators in the mid pipe and it's cat-back

 

It would sound too loud, give Ross sport a call they have these

Also do a bit of research as they don't have cats fitted

 

BBB3 has a right, I had it with straight through 3" turbo back pipe and it was way too loud, here's how it was
and here with two resonators

 

I got the exas exhaust on my JDM widetrack. Looks the same as the regu but has a silencer on the side. Looking for a oem system with cash my way

 

lol thanks for the replies guys....ive currently got a full 3inch militek with a sports cat,just want abit more noise an i like the look of these...as you can tell im not too clued up with these things lol i just pay my mechanic when work needs doing..KAS35RSTI AND BRO82 you have pm...thanks again.

 

I had a kakimoto regu like the one in your picture on my type r sounded amazing! Wish I had put one on my spec c.

 

I had one of these on my 97 classic , straight through 3" , it use to rattle the windows in my house when I started it first thing but I absolutely loved it and sold it with the car to my nephew who ended up putting it into a field backwards and writing it off but my dinner was always piping hot when I got home at night because the Missis could hear me from about 3-4 miles away 😆😆

 

tbh im after the outwood rolled tip look...the burnt look looks better imo,must be a respectable brand of exhaust...every sierra cosworth i look at has them but cant really find any for a blob sti...once i get hold of a full exhaust with the rolled tip im getting it mapped to run on methanol so desperatly want to find one.

 

Where are you seeing Sierra cosworths nowadays , I saw a sapphire cosworth just the other day but not seen one for years before that

 

just the ones that are for sale on ebay etc...there a couple white ones where i work also...il probably look at getting a custom one made

 

Jap performance parts sell second hand kakimoto regu cat backs, then just buy a decat downpipe?
