Question

Can somebody please help me out on this one.
I have just installed the official Subaru column mounted boost gauge onto my UK MY00.
Under hard acceleration my peak boost reads exactly 1.0. Should it be higher than this?? I'm sure that I read somewhere it should be around the 1.2 mark...or did I dream it!?!

1 bar = 14.5 (or 14.7 in some books) PSI which is dead right for a normal 99/00 Impreza.

1.2 bar is achievable with a bleed valve and is about the limit before the ECU starts cutting the fuel to make you behave yourself.

Sunil, my 99 car on the RR produced 16 PSI peak and settled at 15 PSI, 13 is a bit low, 14/15 is correct.
