What amazes me is that Subaru and prodrive chose an STI as the car for this record attempt, when we all know that the WRX is a far superior car

Does he really think he has any say in what subaru do in japan?

what a clown, his attitude is why subaru as a brand are failing in the UK

 

The TT lap record attempts are run by Subaru of America with little or no input from Subaru UK.

This year it is being done by STI as they are due to open shop in the US shortly (taking the place of SOA's own SPT brand).

 

Is it my imagination or does that STi seem to be boosting the full 1.5 bar sweep of the gauge? i.e. higher than standard.....

Thought it was meant to be a standard car with a different exhaust.

 

The first one was fella, but the second one (on above link) was certainly not. Same driver, modified impreza = faster time... and they are doing it all again. Should be good, a technical exercise by Prodrive this time Next time they will have a F1 car with subaru decals on it!!
