Default Difference in downpipes?? 2002 on to 2008??

Does anyone know the difference between say an 04 year scooby downpipe to a 2008 hatchback one?? Is there minor differences or completely different??

From the pictures below you can see that the split joint has been moved to the very base of the first cat and is slightly angled.
Used on the 2.5L Hawkeye and Foresters as well

Yeah I looked for ages before stumbling upon a milltek sport cat n system for handy money

This any use? Then just run secondary cat, you might get away with it
