Best exhaust size 2008 hatchback

Default Best exhaust size 2008 hatchback

I'm replacing the centre pipe on my sti hatchback.. I have a prodrive pack,cosworth filter, 7's plugs.. I'm going for a remap,what centre pipe would be best 2.5 standard size? Or 3in?

Would be better if the whole system was 3" as no point going 2.5"-3" then back to 2.5 again so if the rest of the system is 2.5 then just stick with that or replace it all with a 3" system

3". Invida. Best exauast ever got one on my hatch sounds great. Decat down pipe is a must.

I thought about decat, just worried I can't really ho for much more power anyway as I'm still on standard pistons

Just a quick one I am running standard internals. Maped at 370. 83,0000.miles Pulls like a train.

surely nothing extreme..mine was 360 with full miltek exhaust with sports cat,a forge caik and a zen map.

Done leakage and compression test all good numbers. Got Duncan @ race dynamic to map. For me Job done. ��������

2.5 inch and worked fine on my hatch to 460bhp. 3 inch is fine but you find the bends on the pipe taper down sometimes rather than being consistent throughout.
