Default Newage Key Blade removal

Hi all,
My recently bought 2003 STi had one key that wasn't in a great state. I've bought a spare key and swapped the internals and chip over but am not sure how to swap the blade. Does anyone know how to remove the key blade (it's a one button remote)?
Help appreciated!
Steve

Just peel the rubber cover off the new one and replace.......The key is bonded to the plastic underneath

I've done this by the way

Or just swap the top and re-code the fob! The key blade and immobiliser chip are in the bottom half and the alarm fob is in the top half

I've just converted my Bug to single button key fob this way
