Default HELP! - Antilock brake issue

Hi guys ive just had my brakes all sorted on my impreza 97 but i was out last night when i noticed when i slowed right down (happened after a while) it felt like my anti lock brake was trying to come on but only slightly on the front right wheel or so it felt, and was making a slightly weird noise. Any ideas ? would this be a sensor or something, ive given back to the garage today to have a look at ... oh yea the in the end the anti lock brake light came on and it stopped doing the weird thing when i went slow, so obviously the anti lock just disengaged

Sounds like a dodgy wheel speed sensor or a tooth missing from the reluctor ring.

Reluctor rings can get damaged if the car's been manhandled by a numpty. The fact the brakes have been messed with (discs removed?? ) doesn't seem coincidental.

I had that on a gen 2 legacy, turned out to be metal filings on the ABS ring impeding the sensor.

As already mentioned the pulse ring could be damaged/cracked.
