I'm nearly. Up to 16 years also in June when I got my Greenwagon
I'm going for the longest owned car since new title
Think I was forth three years ago
Trouble is the Subaru enthusuists lost faith when all the 09 + engines went pop and people are still nervouse of the new impreza
A shame as its a great looking car and price isn't any more when you take inflation into account

Dont worry Salsa, a few of us are pushing the 16 years on here now
LH, yes, the 2.5ltr just killed confidence in Subaru, hence I went for the 2ltr twin scroll unit which is far superior and still being used in Japan (shall we mention the FA engine or not?)
Hopefully we may get the new WRX with the FA engine, just as much power as the 2.5 STI and more torque, the only thing that leaves you wondering why its not in an STI in Japan and why are they still running the EJ207.... hmmm.
On an off note, anyone tried the 1.6ltr turbo out?

Must admit that I rarely frequent here these days...my Scoob has been sat on the drive for 2 years, but should be resurrected soon.
I fondly remember the Derby / Notts crew and the various meets and runs that we used to do back in the day....I think I still have a lot of those pictures on 35mm film!

I still pop by from time to time to see if there are any interesting stories, but that's about it. After four Imprezas I'd had enough of the cost and hassle... now I'm happier with a nice, comfy BMW and a motorbike.
I do miss the shows, and the community that used to exist, but changing my car isn't going to bring those back

It has come around quick.
I remember when having an Impreza was admired and you were considered as a true petrolhead.
Kids would stop and stare and people would stop and ask questions.
Then came Lexus rear lights and the neon brigade.
I also went German two years back as Audi were the only other people to offer 300+ bhp and AWD. (Without risk).
