Is it just mine, or are Impreza interiors the rattliest in the world??
I've just spent the best part of two hours dismantling my dashboard to sort an annoying rattle, and whilst I've managed to cure that one, I've now created another!! Cheap plasticky cr@p!!
Now my 'points of rattle' are as follows:
1) Somewhere near the passenger side sun visor. (cured by leaving the visor half-down!! LOL! )
2) Behind the glovebox (lord knows where!)
3) The steering column surround 'resonates' on rough road surfaces (this REALLY drives me crackers!!)
Worst of all, if I turn the stereo up to drown them out, the door interior panels vibrate!
I'm off for a lie down!! LOL!

Solution for you..
Sell it and buy a MY01..
No rattles (yet)
Build quality 1000 x better than previos models.
Apart from the power.....the interior of all Pre-MY01 subes are absolute rubbish.Cheap nasty jap crap....
I was gonna buy one until I drove it..How could anyone justify spending so much money on a car with such a poor quality interior.
Not having a go at you...but am at Subaru..
The MY01 is definatley a totally different proposition.

New shape 6K no rattles just a lose air con plug. test drove old shape feels completely different, hows the weather there good i bet
