Question Headlight leveling sensors for Hawkeye - Where from?

Looking to replace both of mine as the brackets have broken, anywhere I can source cheaper than the £235 oem Subaru items?

Can the brackets be repaired?

Found this one, but seller only has the rear bracket.

They are much cheaper (less than half price) from abroad - Google the part number.

I replaced my front as a complete unit as the connector part was corroded. I still have the old bracket (its fine but would benefit from a wire brush and a hammerite) - make me an offer if you are interested (presume you could transfer your sensor onto it).

Cheers,

Ian.

Thanks for the offer but would rather buy the complete unit.

Matty has none in stock at the minute.

Just to check - The correct part no's are:-

OE-Nr: 84021FE000 front
OE-Nr: 84031FE000 rear

Have sourced both for 278 Euro (£210) including delivery from Germany.

Good price! Its hard to believe the same parts from Subaru UK are nearly 3 times the price.. The other common issue with these things is the plug gets corroded into the socket. I needed a replacement plug and the plug is part of the main loom (not available separately..)

Still bloody expensive for what they are, but definitely a lot cheaper than the £470 a stealer would have wanted.

Oh well, needs must.

Had my front one replaced at my local main dealer last year, as mentioned above the contacts on the connecting plug on mine had corroded and this resulted in them having to splice a section of wire into the main wire from the loom, hopefully your's will be ok, think i saw someone advise putting vaseline or something similar onto the plug to stop the water and moisture getting in.

Received them today, was expecting a copy for the price but they look proper OEM parts to me.

Not exactly happy having to spend the money, but well chuffed at getting them for less than half price.

They look like the ones

That is quick delivery - I ordered from abroad and they were on back order for a couple of months - but got them in the end so worth the saving.
